In October 2008, after reading a news article about the London Eye, he had the bold idea of bringing the London Eye Concept to New York City, he traveled to experience the London Eye and met with the lead engineer of the original and famous London Eye. He established an exclusive business relationship with Starneth, B.V. to bring a giant observation wheel to New York. After four years of perseverance the big day finally arrived, when on September 27, 2012 at a press conference headed by NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg it was announced that a deal has been worked out with the City of NY and the Observation Wheel will be located at the St. Goerge Waterfront District on Staten Island, NY.
